The Making of a Hestia Nativity Companion
The Hestia Nativity Companions began in the 1980’s as a dream of artist Linda Macdonald, Hestia’s founder. Linda Macdonald wanted to create a collectable series of figures and accessories, entirely made by hand, starting from the original sculpting of the figures, to making and casting of the molds, to hand-painting and hand-dressing. Today, Linda Macdonald’s vision continues with our studio artists and artisans, who ensure that each treasured piece is truly a “work of art”.
